This model is a dedicated one for the storing of wine which needs the right temperature and the proper manner for storing. This appliance is engineered in the integrated type which gets blended with the cupboard space. It comes in 2 different colour choices of black and stainless steel. Type and Control:

CDA 60cm FWV900 Built-In Wine Cooler works with the compressor type and it is not a frost free appliance. It gives the self defrosting function when which the compressor will not run for about 30 minutes during the defrosting process. The control panel is located in the centre of the cooler where in it divides into 2 temperature zones. The control panel consists of soft touch buttons which are for putting the appliance to function, the interior light and the temperature increase and the decrease buttons. It has a LED screen which displays the set temperature. The default or the preset temperature is 12 degree C which is 54 degree F. It is also possible to change the display from the Celsius mode to the Fahrenheit mode.

Temperature Zones:

This model is unique with 2 temperature zones and hence storing wines of different nature is possible. Both of these zones allow you to set the temperature any where between 5 degree C to 22 degree C. As a general rule the optimum temperature setting for the storage of wine will be between 13 degree C to 15 degree C. The temperature selection of the red wine will be between 15 to 17 degree C and for the white wine it is 12 to 13 degree C. Hence different wines with different temperature can be easily stored in this model.

Capacity and Shelves:

The capacity of this model in terms of bottles it has the capacity of  18 bottles in the upper zone and 22 bottles in the lower zone. It consists of 5 pull out shelves which has a stopped to avoid over pulling out. These shelves are made of wooden grilling and it gives ample space for the air to circulate. It is also designed with the easy locator and the adjustable shelves mean it can even accommodate large size bottles.
